An immaculate car that was restored to concours condition just a few years ago.The body is by Brewster in the style of a Doctors Coupé, with a particularly delicate waistline to the rear making the car look very lithe & elegant. The car was shipped originally to Palm Beach in Florida. The pram irons to the rear of the roof give the appearance of being a full convertible, whilst in fact being a Fixed Head Coupe.
The engine drives as new in total silence, starting off the button & pulls strongly in any gear. Likewise the gear box is crisp & precise.
The suspension was fitted with many new parts including king pins etc. Thus to drive the car is to feel as one would have done when collecting it from the factory when it was new. It is the best P1 I have ever driven by a long margin, with light precise steering as the makers intended.
The paintwork is burgundy over black & again in superb unmarked condition. Twin side mounts add to the imposing nature of the car. To the interior is biscuit leather which follows suit on the rear dickey seats accessed by a side door. Matching carpets & door panels complete the ensemble. The headlining is new & the roof exterior covered in new double duck canvas.
The car comes with a massive collection of bills attesting to the level of detail & care lavished upon the vehicle. If you are looking for the best, then this one is well worth taking a look at, as it will enhance any collection, or simply make a superb drive, giving pleasure every time you step in it or glance at it sitting poised in your garage.
