1930 Phantom II Limousine by Thrupp & Maberly.

An imposing 6 light limousine by noted coach builders Thrupp & Maberly. The car came off test in 1930 & was finally registered in 1932.

The car is finished in deep crimson over black with a single side mount to the driver's running board. Modern indicators are fitted front & rear.

The interior is new Melton cloth to the rear with a matching new headlining. To the front is original brown leather in patinated but good original condition. The interior wood work is particularly beautiful quarter matched Macassar ebony with deep figuring. The car is a seven seater, well suited to wedding work, with twin occasional seats that fold from the front bulkhead.

Mechanically the car is superb. Bills are present for 6 new recent pistons & the assorted other works required for rebuilding the engine. She starts instantly, idles beautifully, & will start off the switch when warm even after standing for half an hour or so, indicating absolutely superb compression. A plethora of other bills come with the car indicating a regular ongoing maintenance schedule. The one shot lubrication system is intact & working well.

The best part about the car is actually driving it. It pulls incredibly strongly & will run effortlessly at 70MPH. Since coming in we have put 500 trouble free miles on the car which it covered effortlessly. The car also benefits from a brand new full length exhaust system.
