1934 20/25 Martin Walter all weather cabriolet.

Chassis number GSF14
Registration number USK434

A very very rare car bodied by Martin Walter of Folkestone. Only a handful of these were ever produced. The body is an all weather cabriolet with fully folding down roof & wind down windows.

The car is presented in impeccable condition after 18 years in the current ownership where it has been part of a collection of 8 other Rolls Royce cars.
Much work has been completed during that time to keep the vehicle in superb condition.

The car is finished in slate grey over powder blue with the paint being in very very good condition. The roof fabric was recently replaced with new double duck fabric & is in a pleasing shade of blue. Lowering the roof is simplicity in itself. Simply undo the two front latches, release the snap fasteners, break the pram irons & the roof then folds down in one easy motion. The mechanism is spring loaded which aids the raising & lowering. Once up the roof fits tightly & provides for a snug cockpit.

The doors are mounted on a central pillar & rotate almost 180 degrees allowing for ease of ingress & egress. The doors are absolutely solid with no flex, creaking or rattles whatsoever. Indeed the whole chassis exudes a tight taut feel never found on higher mileage examples.

The car starts instantly & exhibits excellent oil pressure running, once up to temperature, at 28psi. Likewise the coolant maintains a steady 70 degrees. The engine runs in complete silence with no knocks, rattles or untoward noises. A really sweet unit.

The interior is blue leather with matching blue carpets all in very good condition. The woodwork is highly figured burr walnut & has been refinished to a high standard. A separate tall drivers seat base comes with the car made specially for the current owner who is short in stature.

The car comes with twin side mount spare wheels, with close to new tyres & a full complement of polished wheel discs. The semaphore indicators work perfectly. Twin footrests fold out of the front seat backs for use by the rear occupants.

The car when new was supplied to Edinburgh in Scotland. It is a rare & unusual car; a great alternative to the more common Gurney Nutting convertibles. The car is in South Wales & may be viewed there by appointment.
