1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 six light by Park Ward.

A very large and imposing coachwork by Park Ward. The car is phantom like in its dimensions!
This car recently emerged from over 20 years storage in a motor carriage house in the far south west of England. Since then it has been recommissioned including a strip down of the brakes, full chassis lubrication & attention to numerous small details. The car now starts readily & has been driven several hundred miles.
Under the bonnet the car is in original condition with the exception of a modern coil. It is fitted with the later "Cats Back" style carburetor. The engine runs quietly & appears to be in very good order.
The paintwork is a bright yellow colour with black to the wings & roof. It is in generally good condition & has cleaned up very well from many years of dust. There is some lifting along the running boards & in particular to the spare wheel cover, but these are isolated areas & could be easily attended to without involving vast expense.
The interior is utterly original with black leather to all six seats. Unusually for a D back body, the car has no division & has owner driver style front seats making for a much more comfortable drive then one would experience from a similar limousine. Original black leather is fitted to the door cards also. The walnut is dull & would benefit from a french polishing. The headlining is in lovely original condition but looks much newer as it is such good unmarked condition.
The car is equipped with a truly enormous sunroof in good working order. The roof is so large that when deployed open the car feels more like a sedanca then a saloon.
What most surprised us about the car was when viewing it from underneath. The underside is in superb order with the bijur system correctly functioning & everything as it should be. All linkages were very tight suggesting that the car may not have covered a massive mileage. We extensively photographed the underside so you may judge for yourself the veracity of our findings. The car would be well suited to wedding work, but equally would be a superb owner driver vehicle due to the seating configuration.
It always gives us great pleasure to find a car such as this with so much originality. The car may be viewed by prior appointment at our premises.
