1939 Rolls Royce 25/30 Park Ward.
Chassis Number GGR71
A very lovely & original car in excellent running order.
The body is by Park Ward & is a swept back saloon.
The car is finished in Black over light Grey. The paint is quite old & exhibits some chipping around the coach lines but is generally presentable. All bright work is in fine order as are the P100 headlamps & spotlight.
The car is fitted with a division that unusually folds out of the roof when deployed by means of the hand winder!!! A large sunroof in good working order enhances summer motoring.
To the front & rear is original green leather that has held up extremely well over the years & is in good condition. Likewise the figured walnut trim is well cared for as are the twin occasional tables to the rear. New green Axminster carpets were recently fitted to tidy up the underfoot area.
Under the bonnet the car is completely original, down to the twin Bakelite mushroom coils still residing in their original positions. The car starts readily & runs beautifully. A fastidious type might clean up the engine bay, but I have to say if it were up to me I would leave it as it is! The original jack & wheel brace are present & a few of the original small tools.
The boot folds open & forms a luggage platform. Inside the boot cover is an original fitted suitcase.
The car is not concours but is in a lovely smart, but patinated, condition. It is currently residing in the garage of the last owner of 20 or so years in Stourbridge, West Midlands, & may be viewed there by appointment.
At the suggested price she is wonderful value for money!!!
