1950 Mark VI Park Ward Convertible

Chassis number B425FU
Registration number LLH391

A rare car being one of just 57 examples produced.

This well maintained car has been in North America since 1971 and only recently returned to the UK. Originally silver, the car had a high quality repaint in 1993 to two-tone non-metallic grey and the leather was re-dyed to match. New grey carpets were also installed. The brightwork is in excellent condition with very striking light maple woodwork contrasting well with the grey theme and a well fitting black hood. Recent work includes a 20,000 mile service, a new clutch, new tyres, new seat cushions, a new mohair hood bag, repairs to the fuel gauge sender and the exhaust system, and a new battery. The car also has a long MOT, an exemplary small tool kit and electric windows to the front.

In August 2009 it won a first prize as Best Two Door Car in Show at the R-REC North of England Rally and features on P.324 of Bernard King’s book “Bentley Mark Vl” During the summer it completed a 2,000 mile rally in France.

The car is currently in Sheffield & may be viewed there by appointment.
