1953 James Young Wraith with Division.

A lovely car that has covered just 80,765 Miles from new. The car originally belonged to the chairman of Arsenal Football Club & still bears the distinctive registration AFC123.

The car is finished in "Wedding White" with paintwork of high quality & in very good shape.

The bodywork is by renowned coach builders James Young & Co, & in style is very reminiscent of a coach built Phantom. Like a baby Phantom really. The main difference being that the driver actually has somewhere to sit!!! Thus the car is well suited to an owner driver. The car is equipped with a division however, for the times when the new owner desires to be chauffeur driven.

The interior is spectacular. The walnut is beautifully figured & in impeccable condition being taken from French walnut root stock similar to the stock of the better classes of shotgun. The rear compartment bulkhead is awash with it & is a particularly fine example of the cabinet maker's art. The upholstery was recently redone in grey & is also in super condition, as are the door cards which were done at the same time. Occasional picnic tables fold from the rear bulkhead & a modern radio is also fitted there. Grey Carpets complete the look as does the fresh grey headlining.

The car has been part of a wedding fleet for many years so has seen regular but light use which has kept the mechanics in great order. The car has also been correctly maintained during this time.

The car may be viewed by appointment in South Wales where it is still occasionally being pressed into service ferrying brides to church, whilst waiting for her new owner to appear.
