1972 MGB Roadster V8

Registration number: JMA64K

Chassis number: GHN5-294655G

A Beautiful MGB Roadster which has undergone a major restoration & been built up with a brand new Heritage body shell by Bromsgrove Motor Co.  The car was then fitted with a rover V8 engine making it a powerful yet relaxed driving sports car sports car.  This MG V8 was built with no expense spared. The engine bay was carefully modified to take the wider 3.5 litre Rover V8 engine which has been fitted with a 390cfm Holley carburettor on an Offenhauser manifold and Janspeed turbular exhaust manifolds. An LT77 5 speed gearbox was fitted to the car and the rear axle was given the tallest available ratio of 3:07:1 for relaxed cruising.

The suspension and braking system were upgraded and the car completed to a top class standard. The upholstery was re-trimmed in Black leather, V8 instruments fitted to the dashboard and all brightwork and chrome replaced. Very recently, there has been further expenditure in order to keep the car in stunning, first class order. The MG has been treated to a brand new set of chrome wire wheels, new wheel spinners, a new set of tyres and a brand new hood

On the road the V8 is fabulous with impressive power, performance and handling. The engine runs perfectly both hot and cold, the gearbox is smooth up and down the gearbox, the car steers perfectly, holds the road well and brakes are efficient. The car is quick, great fun and would today cost well above our asking price to build to such a high standard.
